President

Butch Agsalud is a seasoned business leader and executive recruiter with a distinguished career spanning the U.S. Military, healthcare industry leadership, and executive search. Since December 2024, he has served as President of AGS Unlimited, an executive recruiting firm specializing in connecting high-impact talent with organizations pursuing growth and excellence. In this role, Butch draws on decades of leadership, coaching, and operational experience to deliver purpose-driven recruiting solutions.

Career Highlights:

Butch began his leadership journey in the 1st Armored Division, serving as a Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in Germany and during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm*. The discipline, accountability, and team cohesion instilled during his military service remain cornerstones of his leadership philosophy.

*My unit was tasked to help prepare Armor Reserve personnel for deployment during 24/7 range operations.

Prior to launching his own firm, Butch spent over three decades in leadership and management, primarily in a Fortune 100 company in healthcare. Most recently, he served as District Sales Manager, where he led high-performing sales teams across cardiovascular and primary care divisions. During his tenure, he was hand-selected to pilot an innovative digital field coaching platform, serve as guest faculty for international leadership initiatives, and lead the National Veterans Network Field Chapter.

Before Amgen, Butch spent 28 years at Pfizer (1993–2021), advancing through successive leadership roles and culminating as Regional Business Manager. He led teams generating over $25 million in annual revenue, consistently achieved top-quartile results, and mentored numerous team members into leadership positions. Recognized for cultivating a culture of excellence, Butch earned multiple national honors, including the Vice President’s Cabinet Award, District of the Year, and the Situational Leadership II Top Coach Award. He also served as Regional Operations Lead and Project Lead for Pfizer’s Asian Network, overseeing initiatives that strengthened global talent mobility and diversity engagement.

Beyond his professional achievements, Butch is deeply committed to service and community. He is currently serving a 3-year term as the South-Central Regional Advisor for the West Point Association of Graduates and the Vice President and President-Elect for the West Point Society of Birmingham and Central Alabama. He continues to serve as a Congressional District Coordinator and Field Force Representative for West Point Admissions, and as a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He also served as President and Board Member of the Hoover Baseball Booster Club for six consecutive years. His leadership philosophy remains anchored in developing others, fostering integrity, and building cultures that perform with both purpose and heart.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Butch holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Individual Psychology. He and his wife of 31 years, Andrea, have three sons: Jason, Brandon, and Sean. Jason (USMA ’20) is stationed at Ft. Carson with the 4th Infantry Division and is married to their daughter-in-law, Carson. Brandon is a third-year dental student at UAB School of Dentistry, and Sean is a first-year student in Samford University’s Doctorate in Physical Therapy program.
